Edsels in Las Vegas Meet

The Southlanders met at the Summit Inn, a Route 66 landmark, on top of Cajon Pass.

This beautiful '59 Edsel convertable was lurking in the basement of the Imperial Palace Auto Collection

The Friday drive to the Roadhouse Diner found us looking through the junkyard out back, where there were three '58 Edsels. Jim Popp from Maryland bought all three cars and stripped what he needed. For more junkyard pics from Las Vegas, click here.

The Edsel auction was conducted by Phil Skinner. There were loads of good deals and surprises.

There were loads of beautiful Edsels to look at during the show on Saturday morning.

Meanwhile, back at the junkyard.

On the way back to LA, we stopped to look at this '58 Pacer 4 door hardtop in Sloan, NV. Aparently it had been sold in 1993, but was never picked up by it's new owner.
